Two articles have been published by the members of this team who, along with other members of the Denver Psychoanalytic Society, worked closely in the aftermath of the Columbine High School shootings, giving countless hours of their time to help with pro bono treatment for those traumatized by the event.

"Healing After Columbine:  Reflections of Psychoanalytic Responders to Community Trauma" by Mary Ann Levy, Pamela Haglund, Linda Plaut, Robert Emde, Marguerite Stewart, Ronnie Shaw, Carol Ilvonen, Cathy Krown Buirski, Mel Singer, Rebecca Hea, and William Edwards (2004) in The Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association 52:3

"Denver Analysts respond to the Columbine tragedy" by Levy, M.A., Stewart, M., Buirski, C.K., et al (2003) in The American Psychoanalyst 37(1):1
