A WONDERFUL TIME...
The MARX BROTHERS have kept us laughing at their foolishness for decades. Duck Soup, one of their best movies, remains relevant today as it pokes fun at our pretensions and vulnerabilities and even our political controversies. Howie Movshowitz, Colorado Public Radio Film Critic and Director of Education at Starz Film Center, and John Kelly, M.D., training and supervising analyst wit h the Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis will lead us through a lighthearted evening of laughter and discussion. Proceeds will benefit the community outreach programs of the Denver Psychoanalytic Society, including the monthly lecture series, continuing education programs, school consultations and disaster response interventions. For PATRONS there will be an HORS D’OEUVRES & WINE RECEPTION prior to the movie.
Patron reception at 6:30 p.m.
(Patrons: reception, film/discussion: $50.00 per person)
