| Annual Fees 2012-13 2013-14 2012-13 2013-14
Tuition for the upcoming year is due annually before the first class and is nonrefundable after the start of clsses. Tuition increases are determined annually. Copying fee is annual and nonrefundable. Supervisory or consultation fees are per session. If a candidate is granted a leave of absence, a yearly fee of $100 is charged for administrative costs. Supervisory fees are $50 per session until graduation for analytic candidates, and $60 per consultation session for PTP and CAP PTP students while fully matriculated. At any interruption of matriculation, the supervision/consultation fee is renegotiated between the individuals involved. Fees for the training analysis are arranged individually with the training analyst. The Child and Adolescent program
is partially funded through the generosity of the John Benjamin
Fund. Because of the bequest of this fund, in May 2006
the Institute was able to begin to offer the John Benjamin Scholarship.
This scholarship covers tuition for clinicians intersted in child and
adolescent analytic training, who spend the majority of their time within
an academic department. In addition, through this fund, the Institute
is able to subsidize a limited number of low fee child or adolescent control
cases seen in 4 to 5 times weekly analysis. The Benjamin Fund allows
a subsity up to $20.00 per session, with a maximum fee received by the
candidate of $30.00. Subsidies are paid directly to the candidate
with an understanding that the patient's family is aware of the subsidy
and its source. Subsidies may also be available from the Association
for Child Psychoanalysis. Requests for scholarships and subsidies
are made to the Director of the child program who considers them in consultation
with the Treasurer of the Institute and the Finance Committee. LOAN OPTIONS: The American Psychoanalytic Association offers loans through the Little and Hymowitz Funds and through the Candidate Assistance Fund. At this time, the Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis does not offer payment plans. Interested candidates should contact the Institute office and APsaA. Any questions regarding these policies should be directed to the Treasurer. Checks should be made payable to The Dener Institute for Psychoanalysis and given or mailed to: The Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis Mail Stop F478 12469 E. 17th Place Aurora, CO 80045
