This event is presented in partnership with NASW-CO. Spaces are limited for this Salon and registration will be limited to active CSCSW and NASW Members. Your membership must be also be active at the time of the event.
Summary: In this Salon event, participants will learn why the following three concepts are important to understanding the service member, veteran, and family community: Structure, Purpose, and Camaraderie. Tiffany Morgan will present a case vignette and invite participants to join in a discussion with her.
About Tiffany: Tiffany Morgan, owner of Your Weapon is Your Mind, teaches organizations and mental healthcare professionals how to work with service members, veterans, and their families in a more informed and ethical way. She served in the US Navy from 1997 to 2001 onboard an aircraft carrier as an Aviation Ordnanceman. She has a Bachelor's in Psychology and has been working in community mental health for the last 10 years; the last 4 specifically with veterans and their families.

Event Format: This Salon will be held virtually using GoToMeeting. To facilitate an effective discussion, registrations will be capped for the event.
