Video Rental: Psychoanalysis and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies: A Timely Dialogue featuring Karen Peoples, PhD & Megan Rundel, PhD

The DPS hosted Drs. Peoples and Rundel on 1/20/2024 for this conference titled, "Psychoanalysis and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies: A Timely Dialogue." In this conference, we will explore the psychedelic renaissance in mental health treatment and how it can influence and be influenced by psychoanalysis. We will consider two of the compounds being studied for their efficacy with mental health disorders and learn about research into their effectiveness. We will discuss how psychoanalysts are uniquely well-positioned to understand expanded states of consciousness and explore clinical issues in working with patients who use psychedelics.
